We are seeking well-presented, energetic individuals with a passion for premium brands to join one of two dynamic Dyson teams as Sales Advisors or Hair Stylists. In these roles, you will demonstrate and sell Dyson’s cutting-edge technology, whether showcasing their innovative floorcare and environmental products or providing personalized experiences with Dyson’s revolutionary hair styling tools. Help customers experience Dyson’s technology firsthand, contributing to sales of a world-renowned brand.

About the Roles
Dyson Sales Advisors:
As a Dyson Sales Advisor, you’ll engage customers in a retail environment, offering live demonstrations across Dyson’s floorcare, haircare, and environmental care products. Your goal will be to highlight the unique features of each product and convert this interaction into sales.

Dyson Hair Stylists:
As a Dyson Hair Stylist, you will focus on Dyson’s advanced hair styling tools, providing tailored advice based on customers’ hair types and needs. Combining your beauty skills with product knowledge, you’ll create an exceptional styling experience to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities for Both Roles

  • Customer Engagement: Deliver engaging, hands-on demonstrations that communicate the benefits of Dyson’s technology in a way that resonates with each customer.
  • Sales Achievement: Meet individual sales targets through effective product demonstrations and tailored recommendations.
  • Product Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organised demo area with products ready for customer interaction.
  • Customer Service: Resolve questions or issues professionally and provide knowledgeable product advice.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed on Dyson’s latest innovations, ensuring accurate, up-to-date information for customers.
  • Reporting: Track and record customer feedback and product performance in relevant platforms each shift.


Requirements for Success

  • Passion and Knowledge: A strong interest in Dyson’s product range, with a passion for technology (Sales Advisors) or beauty and hair care (Hair Stylists).
  • Sales and Communication Skills: Ability to connect with customers, build rapport quickly, and drive sales.
  • Professional Presentation: Reflect Dyson’s premium brand through immaculate personal presentation.
  • Reliability and Work Ethic: A dependable and proactive approach to all tasks.
  • Availability: Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours, especially during peak periods.
  • Eligibility: New Zealand residency or valid NZ work visa (Student visas not applicable).


Locations & Hours
Locations: Various locations across Wellington

Hours Required:

  • Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Additional hours available during peak seasons and for other retail clients.
