About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity to grow your career as a Distribution Line Mechanic within our team working across the Wellington region, based out of our Lower Hutt depot. You will be responsible for the provision of quality service and workmanship in the areas of construction, maintenance and fault diagnosis/rectification of all network equipment and installations.

It is essential that you are an experienced Line Mechanic with knowledge of the power industry and can offer the following:

Essential

  • Relevant EWRB Line Mechanic Registration and current practising licence
  • Current Class 1 full driver’s licence (car)
  • Sound knowledge of the Safety Manual Electricity Industry (SMEI) and Safe practices for Low Voltage Electrical Work


Desirable

  • 2 Years Post Qualification experience
  • G&B qualification
  • Class 2 drivers licence
