Key Responsibilities:

General

  • Operate in the die casting process, where molten metal (such as aluminium or zinc) is injected into steel moulds under high pressure to create strong, precise components.
  • Support the pre-treatment stage, which involves cleaning and preparing cast parts by removing impurities, oils, or oxides. This ensures the parts are ready for painting, coating, or other finishes, enhancing their durability, corrosion resistance, and overall quality.
  • Prepare surfaces for coating by performing tasks like cleaning, sanding, and meticulous masking.
  • Operate hardware pre-treatment lines and ovens as well as assist with chemical handling and process work.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and sustain a clean, organised work environment.


Qualifications:

  • Mechanical aptitude and adept problem-solving skills for addressing minor equipment hitches.
  • Remarkable attention to detail, along with the capability to follow precise directives.
  • Collaborative spirit with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Utmost dedication to adhering to safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Previous experience as working in die casting or pre-treatment will be a strong advantage.
