About the role

As a Distribution Design Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our electricity supply infrastructure by delivering safe and cost effective, conceptual and detailed design solutions. Meeting quality, operational and commercial requirements while also satisfying a variety of customers. Collaboration with Project Managers, field staff and others across the business will help ensure your designs and estimations are professional and well considered to protect our network assets.

Safety in Design principles will be embedded into your high-quality designs and project planning. In your team, you will utilise standard technical tools and processes, assist with the maintenance and improvement and address issues timely.

Skills and experience

  • A passion for project delivery
  • Recognised BE Electrical or equivalent degree
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the construction or design of electricity network infrastructure
  • A proven commitment to safety in your work
  • Advanced knowledge in Safety in Design and delivery principles for distribution networks
