An opportunity has become available for a Senior Fencer to join our team in Christchurch.

We're looking for a hardworking and reliable individual to be part of our awesome culture and are on a mission to find the best talent to support our growth.

A typical day will include meeting customers and scoping fence and gate enquiries throughout the wider Canterbury region. You'll also be hands-on, leading and carrying out the install of steel commercial and residential fences and gates. Smaller jobs will be a stand-alone affair with additional resources available on demand for larger jobs from our pool of factory staff.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have proven experience with gate and fencing installation, and will ideally have experience in a senior / leadership position.

You'll also need to demonstate:

  • A strong work ethic
  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • A willingness to be 'hands-on' with installs - This is not just a supervisor job!
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • A Full Drivers licence (manual preferred)
  • Ability to pass Police checks (a clean criminal history is essential due to the sites we work on)
  • High standards of professionalism and personal presentation
  • A commitment to upholding our company values
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally with customers
  • Willingness to travel out of town on occasion for work as required
