Indoor Plant Care Specialist - Technician Role
Our client in the plant hire industry is on the lookout for a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Indoor Plant Care Specialist, to care for vibrant indoor plant displays at various client locations.

This permanent role is ideal for someone who loves working with plants and enjoys providing excellent customer service.

About the Role:
As a Plant Care Specialist, you'll be traveling to various client sites, where you'll handle the maintenance and upkeep of indoor plant displays. Key responsibilities include:

  • Caring for plants by watering, pruning, and cleaning plant displays at client locations.
  • Setting up, delivering, and maintaining indoor plant installations, including green walls, both at the depot and at client premises.
  • Work independently to service your regular clients
  • Liaising with contacts at client sites


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid full New Zealand driver's license.
  • A natural enjoyment of plant care and indoor greenery.
  • Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients.
  • Horticultural experience or qualifications (preferred but not essential).
  • To succeed in this role, you'll need an eye for detail, pride in your work, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


The position is based in Christchurch, with occasional travel opportunities to other regions.
