The Asset Management team of ASB Wealth focus specifically on delivering competitive risk adjusted investment returns for customers who invest in ASB's investment products and drive the performance of ASB funds. Our talented team of professionals currently manage investment management arrangements and providers for over $20 billion dollars invested by more than 500,000 customers. As our service offering continues to grow, a vacancy for an Investment Analyst is now available in our team.

Te tūranga | The role:

This role supports the objective of ASB to provide investment outcomes competitive with market peers, while meeting the investment objectives of the customers of ASB's investment offers, including managed funds and DIM's model portfolios.

A key focus of this role is to support the delivery of investment returns and communications around the performance of ASB funds.

Specific role responsibilities include:

  • Conduct research and analysis in support of responsible investing activities including climate risk related investment strategies for the ASB Investment Products.
  • Conduct regular reviews of ASB Investment Committee policies and recommend changes as required to the ASB Investment Committee.
  • Conduct research and analysis to respond to regulator related initiatives or guidance (e.g. liquidity management).
  • Preparation of regular fund updates, fact sheets and climate related disclosures for ASB funds as required.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of, and compliance, with investment policies and mandates in achieving the investment objectives of ASB Investment Products.


Ō pūkenga | About you:

To be successful in the role, you will be tertiary qualified and working towards your CFA qualification with at least two years of financial markets industry experience with some knowledge of responsible investing. You will be known for your high level of numeracy and attention to detail and possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Other important attributes for this role include comfort working with and around senior management and be a genuine team player.
