He angitūtanga / The opportunity:
Join our team at Victoria University of Wellington as a Driver. This is a Permanent Full Time position rostered from Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for completing daily allocated driving tasks in a safe manner, ensuring punctuality and adherence to safety protocols.
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
- Drive vehicles under operational conditions, following all road and parking rules.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in the same condition as they left the Production Kitchen.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicles in a clean and tidy condition.
- Communicate effectively with the Production Manager and Executive Chef regarding any potential issues.
- Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning and plating for service.

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Good communication skills and basic computer literacy.
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach and attitude, hardworking, physically fit, and reliable.
- Valid driver's license.
