Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

You'll be responsible for delivering audits within the Internal Audit team. You'll complete your work to a high standard by demonstrating internal audit technical expertise, from audit planning, completing fieldwork through to communicating outcomes. You provide insightful audit recommendations that both effectively address business risks and provide value to our stakeholders.

What are the key day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?

  • Leading teams on assignments including coaching, guidance, daily management of work.
  • Delivering quality audits that are process compliant, factoring the wider business environment.
  • Writing high quality reports, supported by audit work papers that back audit outcomes, on-time on-quality.
  • Building relationships and communicating effectively with business stakeholders.
  • Contributing towards the team's and your own ongoing development.
  • Developing assurance strategies that support delivery of business objectives including the use of analytics, appropriate objectives that alignment with business priorities and level of maturity.
  • Providing insightful audit recommendations that both effectively address business risks and provide value to our stakeholders.

You'll have the opportunity to be involved in a broad range of audit assignments across all areas of the Bank and across all product ranges. The variety in assignments allows you to get across the Bank's core operations and makes this a truly rewarding role, that will challenge and enable you to develop your understanding of the Banking sector and see real change from the work you do.
