About the Role
As a Software Specialist, you will be heavily involved in the build, run and maintenance of our nCino solution running on our Salesforce Platform. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of all programmatic requests. You will work as part of our team to collaborate on specifications based on stakeholder requirements, validate the proposals, and deliver the solutions. Being part of the Engineering Practice at ASB we encourage our teams to work autonomously in an agile way while actively growing their skills and expertise to continuously improve outcomes for our customers.
We advocate for T-Shaped teams which will take you through all facets of engineering in any given day.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the Salesforce Platform including advanced low-code skills, however a particular appetite for APEX development
Just as importantly you will have top-notch people skills to get your ideas and solutions across to stakeholders and gain integrity to get your visions built into successful solutions.
Responsibilities
This is a varied delivery leadership role, with the following responsibilities:
- Collaborating with Squad members to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits),
- Extensive use of APEX skills to enhance our solution,
- Design and build flows to meet our business requirements,
- Enhance our nCino implementation built on the Salesforce Platform,
- Custom User Interface development, including Lightning Web Components,
- Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development,
- All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
Knowledge, Skills, and Background
- At least 5 years' experience in delivering Salesforce projects,
- Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications,
- A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code into best practices,
- Soft skills: the ability to gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholders.
- Experience building solutions with a DevSecOps mindset
