BestStart Aidanfield is a warm, welcoming centre with a strong sense of community. We are looking for a Teacher in Training who is passionate about early childhood education and eager to learn while studying. Our centre truly supports teachers in training, offering a nurturing and collaborative environment where you can grow your skills. With a well-established team and strong whānau connections, we are proud to provide a learning space where both children and teachers thrive.
About the Role
We need a team player who is currently enrolled in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor’s programme and keen to develop their teaching practice in a supportive environment. This is a permanent, part-time position (30 hours per week, Monday to Friday) on a rotating roster between 7 am – 6 pm.

What We’re Looking For
A team player who is keen to learn in a supportive environment
Enrolment in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor’s course - Ideally in their 1st Year of study
Understanding of child-led curriculum, with a passion for extending children's learning
Strong knowledge of ECE regulations, Te Whāriki, and a commitment to compliance
