Job Description

  • Earn up to $29.83 per hour with a national mental health provider
  • Permanent part- time role Sunday- Monday nights, 11pm- 7.30am
  • Extra annual leave + 2 wellbeing days annually

The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
This is a 16- hour per week position, working Sunday and Monday fom 11 pm to 7.30 am, based in Hamilton East.

In this role you will:

  • Be busy supporting people with independent living skills
  • Maintain health and safety
  • Be prepared to do whatever it takes for the people we support - medication, cleaning, cooking, personal care and liaising with emergency services when required.


You | Mōu

  • Applicants must hold the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent. Alternatively, you will be willing to commence study towards this within six months of starting your employment with Pathways. This needs to be completed within two years of commencement. Pathways offers significant support for support workers to complete this study.
  • You must hold a current full New Zealand driver’s licence.
  • You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
