Whether you are looking for flexibility around other commitments or would prefer regular rostered shifts, we have a variety of permanent (full-time and part-time) and casual options on offer.

What does a Support Worker do?

As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support. We provide a career pathway for staff through the learning and development framework to achieve NZQA qualifications, which are fully funded. You will earn between $23.38 - $29.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.

This is an opportunity to join New Zealand's largest community healthcare provider with the potential to gain experience in a variety of disciplines including aged care, disability, mental health and rehabilitation. Whilst you will be part of a large national organisation, you will join a dedicated and close-knit team.

  • Previous healthcare or care-giving experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Healthcare qualifications are advantageous
  • Most positions require a full NZ drivers' licence and your own reliable transport
