We are currently looking for an experienced and ambitious National Sales & Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team and drive the sales strategy for the GAC brand across New Zealand.

You will play a pivotal role in expanding the GAC brand's presence in New Zealand, overseeing national sales management, dealer network expansion, corporate customer management, and fleet management. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of the automotive industry in New Zealand, collaborating with global teams and leading marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Sales Growth & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute a national sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and expand market share through dealers, corporate clients, and fleet businesses.
  • Ensure effective inventory management and achieve monthly sales targets through precise forecasting and alignment with production.
  • Implement competitive pricing strategies to ensure brand profitability.

Dealer Network & Customer Management

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with dealers, corporate clients, and government agencies.
  • Enhance customer management systems for better data accuracy and timely updates, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Implement a Sales and Service NPS program to continuously improve dealer performance.

Marketing & Brand Promotion

  • Create and execute a national marketing plan to enhance brand awareness and market penetration.
  • Coordinate new vehicle launches and promotional events to align with brand positioning.
  • Oversee the digital marketing strategy to drive online sales and improve customer engagement.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor and motivate the sales team to meet sales and service targets, fostering a high-performance environment.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top industry talent to strengthen the sales and marketing team.
  • Drive continuous process and technology improvements based on data analysis.

Financial & Reporting Management

  • Ensure the achievement of sales targets, manage costs effectively, and report regularly to senior management
  • Maintain effective communication with global importers and factories to support decision-making.


We are looking for a highly driven and industry leader with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Sales & Marketing Experience: Proven background in automotive wholesale/distribution and managing dealer networks and corporate sales.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring high-performance teams.
  • Strategic & Financial Acumen: Expertise in strategic planning, financial analysis, and balancing market expansion with profitability.
  • Technical & Process Improvement Skills: Experience leveraging digital tools and data analysis to enhance processes and customer experiences.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Education: A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.


Candidates must have full working rights in NZ and hold a current NZ Drivers Licence.
