Our client is a leading electrical company based in Tauranga, specializing in industrial electrical services for sectors such as refrigeration, packhouses, agriculture, and large-scale industrial systems. Their work spans a wide range of services, from industrial refrigeration systems to automated control systems and electrical installations.

About the Role:

You will work on a variety of industrial electrical projects, including refrigeration systems, agricultural equipment, fibre optics, and automated control systems. Your expertise will ensure that all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and modifications on a range of industrial electrical systems.
  • Install and upgrade switchboards, lighting, and temperature monitoring systems.
  • Work on specialized systems such as refrigeration, automated control systems, and agricultural grading equipment.
  • Sign off on completed work to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with a strong team to enhance operational efficiency and deliver exceptional service to clients.


Key Competencies and Skills:

  • NZ Qualified and Registered Electrician with proven experience in industrial electrical work.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial refrigeration, switchboard installations, cool store setups, and automated control systems.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, take ownership of your own projects, and mentor apprentices.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • A clean, full NZ driver's licence.
