We are seeking a passionate and proactive Payroll Officer to join our National Support Office in Parnell, Auckland. If you thrive in managing medium to large payrolls, excel in end-to-end payroll cycles, and are forward-thinking with systems and automation, this role is for you! Salary: $60k - $65k per annum + annual performance bonus.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

Reporting the Payroll Manager, you will:

  • Manage a complex payroll function for over 3800 employees.
  • Provide customer-focused solutions and advice to our operations teams.
  • Handle day-to-day payroll activities with the wider team.
  • Ensure SLAs are met by maintaining high data integrity for reporting and analysis.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • At least 3 years of experience with New Zealand payroll processes and legislation.
  • Experience in a complex environment with multiple unions and varied agreements.
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Experience with payroll systems like PayGlobal (an advantage).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
