📍 Auckland | Full-Time | Sole HR Role | Immediate Start


Are you ready to lead HR in a fast-growing company where people and culture are at the heart of everything we do?

The Cosmetic Clinic (www.thecosmeticclinic.co.nz) is on the lookout for a proactive and strategic HR Manager to join our team! You’ll be our go-to HR expert, working closely with our external HR partner (Peninsula Group) — but this role is all about leading and owning HR internally, shaping how we recruit, develop, engage, and grow our people.

New Zealand owned and operated, we are part of a global network of over 200 clinics founded by a leading cosmetic physician in 1996. We draw on a history of treating hundreds of thousands of clients over the past 25 + years.


About the Role:

✅ Strategically align HR with business goals to drive high performance.

✅ Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent development to build a top-performing team.

✅ Design and manage a robust performance management system and employee growth plans.

✅ Foster positive workplace culture, employee engagement, and wellbeing initiatives.

✅ Develop reward, recognition, and retention strategies to motivate and keep our people.

✅ Coach and support managers to be great leaders.



What You’ll Bring:

⭐ Proven HR experience (5+ years in a generalist or management role).

⭐ Passion for culture-building, people development, and employee engagement.

⭐ Strong interpersonal skills — you love connecting with people at all levels.

⭐ Solid knowledge of NZ employment law and best HR practices.

⭐ Ability to work independently and get things done.
