The employer is an NZ owned, well established franchise dealership based in Taranaki and they are looking to employ a WOF Technician for their busy workshop.

The role and responsibilities

  • General servicing, maintenance, and repairs to light vehicles
  • Inspections and diagnostic testing
  • Day to day workshop duties
  • WOF checks


Skills sought

  • Trade qualified light vehicle mechanic with post apprenticeship experience
  • WOF / AVI authority is a must
  • Solid all round mechanical servicing, repair, and maintenance skills
  • Franchise automotive background highly preferred
  • Good diagnostics skills

  • Wage rates will depend on your overall skills and experience but the role will remunerate at around $36-$38 per hour.
