Geneva Healthcare is currently looking for Support Workers who are energetic, willing to learn, and have a caring, fun, and compassionate nature, to assist a Medically Fragile Child client with complex cares based in Forest Hill. This is more than just a job; you will be providing invaluable support.

As a Support Worker you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Personal cares & Home help
  • Medication administration
  • Training at Starship Hospital 3 days 3-hour sessions.
  • Tracheostomy & Ventilator (Continuous monitoring is necessary to guarantee the artificial airway remains open and secure, and the ventilation equipment is connected and operating properly).


Requirements:

  • Be a good communicator, patient, and calm – someone who is genuinely interested in people and can build meaningful relationships
  • Must have a clean and valid Restricted/Full driver’s license & own transport
  • Must be eligible to work in NZ
  • Subject to clean police clearance check


Immediate Shifts to start with:

Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday 10pm-6am WAKEOVER shifts.
*Candidate must be flexible to starting slightly earlier or later/longer hours
