Geneva Healthcare is currently looking for experienced support worker based in Kumeu. Our client requires male support worker who is energetic, willing to learn and empathetic. This is more than just a job; you will be providing invaluable support.

In this role, no two days are the same. You will have the ability to work one on one with our clients, to ensure they live their best life possible.

Requirements:

  • Honest, reliable with complete integrity
  • Confident to handle cares independently
  • Healthcare qualification of Level 3 or above
  • Must have a full NZ driving licence
  • Must be eligible to work in NZ
  • Subject to clean police clearance check
  • Able to commit to the shifts


Tasks:

  • Assist with complex personal cares, including showering, drying, dressing, and undressing.
  • Provide medication oversight.
  • Ensure the commode is emptied and wiped.
  • Place laundry in the washing machine; if previous washing is dry, bring it in and fold it.
  • Wipe up any urine spills on the floor to prevent fall.
  • Meal Preparation
  • Home Help
  • Make the bed


*Flexibility required

Shifts:

  • Monday to Sunday from 07:00 am.


*With the opportunity to pick up more shifts as they become available
