Future Hospitality Group (FHG) is a leading hospitality operator in Queenstown, managing a diverse range of venues known for exceptional service, creativity, and high-quality food and beverage offerings. Our team is passionate about delivering outstanding dining experiences, and we are looking for six talented Chef de Partie professionals to join us for the upcoming winter season and beyond!

Position Overview
As a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in the kitchen, ensuring the smooth operation of your designated section while maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene. This role requires a strong culinary background and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Manage and oversee a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Assist with menu planning, food costing, and inventory control.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients as required.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.

  • Strong culinary skills with experience in a high-volume kitchen.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the kitchen in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a specific section in a kitchen.
  • Understanding of food hygiene, safety regulations, and kitchen best practices.
