We are seeking a skilled and motivated Foreman and Diesel Mechanic to maintain, repair, and service a fleet of commercial trucks, ensuring the safety and reliability of vehicles and delivering outstanding service to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy-duty truck systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Repair and replace parts such as engines, brakes, steering mechanisms, including COF repairs and accident repairs
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues and implement solutions
  • Collaborate with service advisors and team members to deliver timely and efficient service



Skills sought

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably within a dealership or similar environment and experience working on late model trucks
  • Certification as a Diesel Mechanic or equivalent technical training
  • Sound technical skills, strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and mechanical and fault-finding ability
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and technology
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance, as well as truck systems (brakes, hydraulics, electrical, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-demand, service-driven environment
