Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Demolition Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy lifting and controlled demolition, with a strong focus on safety and precision. This role requires a hands-on approach to the demolition process, including the safe removal of materials, working in a fast-paced environment, and following strict health and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform heavy lifting and operate demolition equipment.
• Assist with controlled demolition tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Safely remove and dispose of debris and hazardous materials.
• Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Work closely with the site supervisor and other team members to ensure project time lines are met.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organised work site.
• Participate in daily safety briefings and site inspections.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in demolition, construction, or heavy manual labor roles.
• Knowledge of controlled demolition techniques and equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and health and safety standards.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications:

• Health and safety certifications are an advantage.
• Relevant demolition or construction experience.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
