Job Description

Working at Atlassian

Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.

Join Atlassian as an intern and spend your summer with us having an impact on how millions of users collaborate and use software. We're in the business of developing software to help teams everywhere get amazing ideas on the ground and into the world. Sound like an exciting place to start your career? Apply for our Summer 2025/2026 Intern Program and kickstart your career!

Your future team

As our Procurement intern, you will assist in the delivery of multiple transformational procurement initiatives focused on process and operational improvements, collaborating across the global procurement organisation and with other departments, including Finance, Tax, IT, HR, and Legal as well as learn to build project manager skills as part of team.

This program is open to penultimate year university students with Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency. The internship dates are late November 2025 to late February 2026, full-time for 12 weeks.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • A strong desire to execute, drive impact, and demonstrate vitality with projects big and small
  • Comfort operating independently in a constantly evolving environment and with multiple teams relying on your work
  • Deft ability to communicate data into relevant insight: You know how to create compelling presentations and can lead executives through data deep-dives
  • You love partnering: You understand that organisations are made up of very different parts. You relish influencing others and co-piloting cross-team initiatives
  • Prior experience in supply chain, business operations, or strategy

Your background

  • Be in your penultimate year of a Bachelors or Masters program, graduating by January 2027
