OneStaff New Plymouth is the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to a number of industrial based clients in New Plymouth.

Our client has roots in the timber industry dating back to 1916, their experienced team has a wealth of knowledge in manufacturing building and finishing products from solid and finger jointed timber. With continued business growth we are looking for staff to join our clients team within the laminating department and CNC operating.

Some of the tasks will include, but ill not be limited to;

Laminating Department:

• Assemble and bond timber components to create high-quality laminated products
• Operate machinery and apply adhesives
• Press timber and conduct quality checks
• Ensure products meet industry standards
• Requires attention to detail and commitment to quality

CNC Operator:

• Operate computer-controlled machinery to cut, shape, and finish timber products
• Program and set up CNC machines
• Load timber materials and monitor production runs
• Perform routine maintenance checks
• Previous CNC experience or a technical mindset is beneficial
• All roles require a high level of strength and fitness, and you will be given full support and training within your role.

Requirements to work for OneStaff:

• ID required (one of the following) Passport OR NZ Birth Certificate & Driver's License
• Pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol test
• You must be reliable with transport to make it to work on time each day
• CV, Relevant Certificates or License (i.e. forklift or site safe passport)
