Ko tō tūranga – your role
As we embark on our AI transformation journey, we are looking for a 12-month fixed term Talent Partner to support resourcing across our Data & AI function, ensuring we have the best in-market talent to meet our ambition to be the most AI-enabled telco on the planet.
As a Talent Business Partner at One New Zealand, your primary role is to collaborate with leaders to understand business needs and build talent strategies that attract high-quality talent. From the initial briefing to onboarding, you will manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process, leveraging proactive sourcing and in-depth knowledge of the New Zealand talent market.
Additionally, you will support in creating, implementing, and leading strategic initiatives aimed at continuous improvement, focusing on delivering an exceptional candidate and Hiring Manager experience, with an emphasis on time, cost, and quality.
Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do
- Partnering with Hiring Managers to attract and select external and internal candidates for core, specialist, and technical vacancies with a focus on time, cost and quality of candidates
- Drive our talent pipeline and candidate management strategies for critical or hard to fill roles, via market mapping, proactive sourcing, and delivering in-depth market insights.
- Partner with HR on role scoping, bench marking salary, pay parity and supporting the business to keep to budget and banding.
- Upskilling Hiring Managers on selection best practice and process
- Ensuring best practice tools i.e. assessment, selection, referencing are in place and being applied correctly
- Develop engaging and on brand recruitment marketing initiatives across all channels; website, social media platforms, referrals and job boards
- Design and deliver talent acquisition projects i.e. employment brand, social media, diversity, equity and inclusion, and continuous improvement
Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring
- 5+ years recruitment experience in a fast pace high volume environment, preferably gained through both an in-house large corporate and agency environment
- Experience recruiting Data, AI and Technology based roles, being comfortable recruiting on skillsets and across emerging technologies
- Must have strong NZ candidate market knowledge
- Proven success working at pace, across multiple vacancies and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and relationship management
- LinkedIn Recruiter and proactive sourcing experience a must
- In-depth experience of ATS, recruitment and productivity tools
- Strong results orientation with a track record of achieving exceptional results
