We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Hawkes Bay team. You will work alongside a hard-working construction team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of projects within your portfolio.

Reporting to the Construction Manager your day to day will include the following:

  • Providing leadership and management to your direct reports to achieve targets
  • Promoting a Zero Harm environment, ensuring H & S policies and procedures are followed
  • Overseeing the allocation of people, plant, technology and resources to achieve outcomes
  • Develop and improve systems and processes
  • Assist in development and implementation of procurement strategies

  • Project and/or Contract Management experience in Civil Engineering
  • Strategic thinking and an ability to problem solve and implement initiatives
  • A proven track record developing a culture that supports business excellence
  • High levels of emotional intelligence and the ability to get the best out of your team
  • Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Relevant tertiary qualification is beneficial but not necessary
