Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Fabricator who shares our passion for excellence and is committed to customer satisfaction to join our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures, components, and systems from various materials.
  • Perform welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, ensuring strong, clean, and precise welds.
  • Conduct quality checks on all welded materials and structures to ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Follow safety guidelines and work in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Undertake site installations and repairs as required.


Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, welding processes, and fabrication techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant welding certification (e.g., NZQA, ASME) is preferred.
  • A full, valid driver's license is desirable.
