Relievers are a valued part of our team and we have positions in our Palmerston North Centre. Whether you’re looking for work/life balance, or want to spend your day making a difference in a child’s life, you’ll play a unique role in supporting our Kaiako to provide loving care and education for babies, toddlers and preschoolers.

Our ideal applicant:

  • Reliable and available, often at short notice
  • Able to work between 2 to 8 hours a day, and during school holidays
  • Committed to building strong relationships with children and whānau
  • Enthusiastic about creating fun-filled days for tamariki
  • Warm, caring nature
  • Confident communicator in English
  • NZ residency or NZ work visa is a pre-requisite
  • All potential employees are police vet checked


Whether you’re early childhood /primary qualified, or an ECE Teacher-in-training, or simply have a heart for children, we’d love to meet you and discuss this on-call relieving position.

Our centre operating hours are 7.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
