Wellington City Council is on track deliver the most ambitious capital works programme our city has ever seen. The Infrastructure & Delivery group is central to much of this mahi.
Sitting within this our Transport and Infrastructure team, who play a key role in delivering critical engineering and infrastructure services to keep Pōneke up and moving. This team plan and deliver the maintenance and renewal works on our transport and infrastructure assets as well as controlling the city's network of traffic signals. They construct and deliver minor improvements and safety projects as well as the larger Transport related projects whilst also holding the Council's regulatory role as the Road Controlling Authority.
Āu ake mahi | What you'll do
Due to internal progression, we are looking for a Transport Resolutions (TR) Coordinator within our Engineering & Operations Team - providing and managing an efficient and safe transport network for ALL customers.
The TR Coordinator coordinates our traffic resolution process and reporting. They also provide quality assurance and ensuring timeliness of relevant reports are met before the public consultation with the Elected Members and the communities.
This role is responsible to track the implementation of the Council approved Traffic Resolution changes by ensuring that the Council staff has issued the physical works to the contractors to install on-site.
The role involves elements of information management, administration, and customer high level of service.
To succeed in this role, you will need experience with Microsoft 365 products (eg Word, Excel, Outlook etc), administration experience, attention to detail and the ability to manage your time and workload effectively.
You'll also be customer focused and enjoy working as part of a team.

The salary range for this role is $64,404 - $75,769, the starting salary within this range will depend on skills and experience.
