Job Description

Tradestaff Christchurch is looking for a reliable and proactive Yard Hand to join the team.
If you enjoy working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and have experience operating a forklift, this could be the perfect role for you.
You will assist with various tasks related to managing and processing tyres, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assisting with the movement of tyres and other yard-related tasks.
  • Performing basic maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
  • Safely operating mobile plant and machinery.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Reporting incidents and following safety protocols.


What You’ll Bring:

  • A current Forklift certification.
  • Experience with operating a forklift.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety procedures.
  • A reliable, hardworking attitude and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills.
