Job Description
Tradestaff Christchurch is looking for a reliable and proactive Yard Hand to join the team.
If you enjoy working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and have experience operating a forklift, this could be the perfect role for you.
You will assist with various tasks related to managing and processing tyres, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assisting with the movement of tyres and other yard-related tasks.
- Performing basic maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
- Safely operating mobile plant and machinery.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Reporting incidents and following safety protocols.
What You’ll Bring:
- A current Forklift certification.
- Experience with operating a forklift.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety procedures.
- A reliable, hardworking attitude and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamworking skills.
