We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations. If you are proficient in Xero, Excel, and have a knack for precision, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Management
  • Post receipts, process invoices, and record financial transactions.
  • Accounts and Reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and payable.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable monthly.
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations accurately and within deadlines.


  • Reporting
  • Provide information for the balance sheets, financial statements, profit and loss reports, and stocktake reports.
  • Collaborate with accountants to provide quarterly and annual financial reports.

  • Payroll and Taxation
  • Calculate pay and deductions for employees.
  • Complete PAYE, GST, and income tax returns.


  • Transaction Coding and Query Resolution
  • Code transactions accurately.
  • Resolve account queries efficiently with our team and customers.


Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Xero accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience in Accounts payable/receivable and general accounting tasks.
  • Ability to travel between two of our sites in Christchurch
