About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
You will be reporting to the Team Coach and joining our Pathways Christchurch Mobile service. You will be working in a team of Support Workers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Advocate and support people to be well and thrive.
  • Connect them with resources that support them in living well and assist them in building resilience.
  • Help people connect with their communities, building the relationships that matter most.
  • Foster positive change for a more positive life.
  • Provide medication support for our people.
  • Managing a caseload and all reporting requirements.


You | Mōu

  • You must have previous experience working in a community environment and mental health and addictions sector.
  • You must hold the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent.
  • You must hold a NZ full driver’s licence.
  • Hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one before starting.
  • You must have excellent time management and record keeping skills.
  • Have knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
  • Days/hours of work: 16 hours weekly. Friday and Saturday. 1.30pm – 10.00pm. Immediate start.
