We are currently looking for an exceptional Food and Beverage Assistant to join one of our High End Corporate Catering - Business and Industry sites in Auckland CBD.

This is a Permanent Part time position, working a minimum of 21 hours per week. Enjoy your weekends off!

An Assistant - F&B will utilize their skills and appropriate equipment to deliver a quality food and beverage service to our customers. This role requires a pro-active approach to safety and utilisation of all of the safety equipment and procedures provided by Compass Group.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for providing warm, friendly, and welcoming customer service and responding to all requests in a timely manner
  • Provide food and beverage service
  • Provide responsible service of alcohol
  • Assisting with the basic food preparation and presentation as well
  • Operate cash register
  • Prepare and serve coffee
  • Maintain clean and tidy dining and kitchen areas


He kōrero mōu / About you:

  • Will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Ideally will have experience in a similar environment and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one.
  • Will have Barista experience.
  • Will be a team player and work independently
  • Will have superior customer service skills but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
