Compass Group NZ are seeking experienced Coordinators - Operational Support / Drivers. We have an amazing opportunity for you to make a difference and be the friendly face that delivers and grows the Ka Ora, Ka Ako - Healthy School Lunches Programme to students across the Auckland Region. The base rate for this position will be $26 p/h which is above the market rate.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Always keep safety at the forefront of your mind and your #1 priority
  • A 'can do' attitude - always think of how you can improve the experience for the customer
  • An approachable & accommodating manner which fosters strong relationships with others
  • Performing pick-ups and deliveries daily to schools throughout the region (supplied vehicle)
  • Liaising with customers at sites to increase engagement around the Healthy School Lunches programme
  • A dynamic & passionate focus on delivering exceptional food and service at the highest level and detail
  • An outstanding communicator who can de-escalate any concerns and ensure the customer is informed
  • A positive and flexible approach to other team members and business needs
  • Drive improvement initiatives to help build the success of the programme


He kōrero mōu / About you:

  • You have a valid full New Zealand driver's licence (only class 1 required).
  • You may have prior experience in the Transportation/Delivery industry and understand load safety
  • You may have prior experience in Customer Service / Engagement roles
  • You are a strong communicator who can foster positive relationships with our customers is critical for this role
  • You are a problem solver who can find immediate solutions to ensure the customer is satisfied
  • You are good with numbers and able to meet daily delivery time targets
  • You understand how to anticipate customer needs and exceed satisfaction standards
  • You are physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
