Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Projects Manager to join their team in Auckland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist with the planning, securing and delivering of projects according to the project scope and budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining project objectives, overseeing quality control, project administration, acquiring resources and coordinating team members, subcontractors and other third parties to deliver the project on time and meet customers’ expectations.

What you'll do:

As a Projects Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of various projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building a culture of safety first across all sites, managing, tracking, and reporting on projects, establishing quality relationships with stakeholders, providing accurate budgeting information, and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will also be expected to contribute actively towards cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives.

  • Build a culture of safety first on all sites
  • Ensure commitment to Health and Safety Policies and procedures
  • Achieve expected quality standards and ensure highest levels of quality and workmanship obtained
  • Manage, track and report on projects
  • Establish and maintain quality relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide accurate budgeting information and cost analysis as required to assist operational budget management and development projects
  • Maintain strong working relationships with existing customers through regular client liaison as services are carried out
