Our client based in Te Rapa is a diverse and inclusive company whose main goal is to change lives for the better, they deal in construction, building, and maintaining infrastructure. They are on the lookout for a Site Traffic Management Supervisor with a class 2 license. As a Site Management Traffic Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic in and around our construction sites.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and enforce traffic management plans to minimize disruptions and ensure safety
Oversee the setup and maintenance of traffic control devices, signs, and barriers
Monitor and maintain compliance with traffic safety regulations
Train and supervise onsite traffic control personnel
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments
Address and resolve traffic related issues in a timely manner
Maintain accurate records of traffic management activities
Requirements
Proven experience in traffic management and site supervision
Certification in traffic management and a Class Full class 2 or Class 2L
Strong knowledge of local traffic laws, regulations, and standards
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure and make quick, effective decisions
Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
Physically fit and strong
Must be able to pass all preemployment check
