The Company
My client is a privately owned global company with operations spanning a number of regions across the world. The Head office is based in Sydney and with significant operations in NZ. You will be working under an impressive Finance Director and get exposure to multiple entities/regions.

The Role
As the contract Financial Accountant you will reporting directly to the Finance Director based in Auckland. You will have the ability to work in an agile environment, bringing experience in hands-on financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:

• Month end close – ownership of 16 P&Ls
• Balance sheet reconciliations for NZ and one international entity
• Collating group budgets
• Monthly review meetings with key stakeholders
• NZ Tax requirements
• Ad-hoc reporting as it comes up

Your profile:
My client is looking for an experienced, hands-on financial accountant who can come in and hit the ground running. You will have the following attributes:

• Hungry to drive outcomes and seek optimal outcomes
• The ability to work autonomously
• CA (or equivalent) Qualified Accountant
• Strong communication and stakeholder mgmt. experience
• An ability to pivot fast in a dynamic environment
• Someone happy to roll up the sleeves and muck in.
