My client is a leading energy tech company that has experienced significant growth in recent years. To navigate this recent and forecast growth, they have spent the last 12 months building out a high-performance finance team based primarily in Auckland. They are still embarking on this journey, but this current role marks a final piece of the current puzzle, as they look for someone that can take ownership of financial and management reporting and drive out various continuous improvement initiatives for the business.

The Role
The Senior Financial Accounting role involves overseeing financial reporting, managing compliance, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. This position requires advanced expertise in financial reporting standards, technical accounting, and proficiency with larger ERP systems, ideally Netsuite. Responsibilities include supporting audits, identifying areas for process improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• CA (or equivalent qualification) is strongly preferred but won’t preclude you from consideration
