Mō te tūranga - About the role
We are looking for an experienced Receptionist that enjoys working in an environment where they get to know the teams around them and the people they are here to support in our Homes. This role is pivotal to ensuring all visitors to the Home are appropriately welcomed, enquiries are efficiently dealt with and administration processes run smoothly.
We are keen to hear from you if you enjoy being kept busy and being the first point of contact for visitors. We are looking for someone with a warm and welcoming approach, confident dealing with a wide variety of people and with a natural empathy for our Elders. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Providing a professional meet and greet services on Reception
- Answering calls and responding to queries or directing to the relevant person
- Ensuring visitor protocols are understood and enforced
- Supporting routine general administration within the Home
This is a part time position working 32 hours per week Mon-Fri, with one Saturday per month based in our Enliven - Cashmere Home in Johnsonville.
Mō koe - About you
As well as a passion for the wellbeing of older people, you will be enthusiastic but patient and well organised with great interpersonal skills. You will share our values of empathy, compassion, and respect and bring this to the way in which you operate.
You will also:
- Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a receptionist role
- Have experience in customer service and have a pleasant telephone manner
- Be tech savvy and know your way around Microsoft Office and client management systems
- Be a great organiser and have strong prioritisation skills & attention to detail
- Be an excellent multi-tasker, who is un-phased by regular interruptions
- Have the ability to remain calm under pressure and to respond to the daily needs of the Home
