What will you be doing with us?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Casual Bar Assistant to work at our site at NZDF-Linton. Hours will be as and when required, dependent on business needs.

Your responsibilities:

  • Providing responsible service of alcohol and professional customer service.
  • Responding to customers' requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Assisting with the operation of the bar and preparing for service.
  • Taking orders and preparing outstanding drinks and serving customers.
  • Assisting with stocktaking on a regular basis and replenishing supplies.
  • Maintaining the cleanness of the bar area and ensuring that all tasks are performed according to all Health and Safety regulations.


Our ideal candidate?

If you're our ideal candidate;

  • You will be hard working with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
  • You will have some experience working in a similar role, be articulate and highly organised, and able to juggle multiple demands.
  • Ideally you will hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 and 168), or be happy to train for one.
  • You will have natural mathematical skills, but, most importantly, you will demonstrate a passion for customer service and quality!
