We have partnered with Emirates as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember! We are looking to build our team in our Emirates Lounge at Wellington Airport and are now recruiting for a Permanent Part Time Kitchen Assistant.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm, friendly, and welcoming style of service to all customers.
  • Maintain clean and tidy dining and kitchen areas, including cleaning tables, floors, and equipment.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting food, including portioning and plating.
  • Wash dishes, including pots, pans, crockery, and kitchen equipment.
  • Communicate effectively in the workplace and maintain personal presentation standards.

If you're our ideal candidate, you will:

  • Have excellent communication skills and be great team player
  • Be well presented with a friendly outgoing personality and a positive attitude
  • Have some experience working in a commercial kitchen
  • Hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167)
  • Demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
