ASB Corporate Banking is focused on delivering smarter banking solutions and unbeatable service to the NZ Corporate market.

As Senior Analyst, you will hold primary responsibility to provide timely, insightful industry and client research and analysis for Corporate Banking.

Working collaboratively with relationship teams and other product specialists within Corporate banking, you will provide input on client ideas/solutions, pitches and credit risk papers to support ASB Corporate's vision and business performance. Utilising your highly developed research, analysis and financial modelling skills as well as your professional judgement, you will make recommendations and provide valid insights to our teams working on new and/or existing Corporate client transactions.

This role is flexible in location across all ASB Regional Centres.

To be successful in this role we are looking for applicants to be tertiary qualified in a Business or Commerce related discipline and to have at least 4 years banking/corporate finance/M&A experience ideally within client facing roles. A detailed understanding of the operational drivers of a business and how they relate to the financial drivers of that business is also necessary. Your outstanding written and verbal communication skills will ensure the professional delivery of client pitches or bank presentations to win new clients / business.
