Our client has more than 50 years of service to the New Zealand Food Industry. 100% NZ Owned Company that started off as our small local distributor – they now have 11 warehouses and have increased staffing numbers by 70%. Their vision is to continuously grow the company by earning customers' trust to be the supplier of choice while striving to be highly competitive and delivering quality, safe food ingredients.

The Role
We are searching for an experienced Order Picker/Forklift Operator to join our client's fast-paced team based in Hornby.

Duties will include:

  • Operating a Forklift.
  • Pick packing orders.
  • Manual Handling of boxes/bags, lifting up to 25kg.
  • General warehouse duties


Days and Hours

  • Monday-Friday, 6:00am-3:30pm.
  • This is an ongoing full-time position.
  • Starting rate - $27.00 p/h + 8% Holiday Pay


Skills and Attributes

  • Forklift License is essential (OSH)
  • Someone looking for ongoing employment.
  • Experience in dispatch – preferably in a warehouse setting.
  • Comfortable picking goods 3-4 meters off the ground using an Order Picker.
