Job Description

We currently have opportunities for an Audit Senior and Audit Assistant Manager in our Wellington team. Working with a team of experienced auditors, you will have exposure to a great range of audit clients, including businesses, charities and other not-for-profits, and public sector entities. The salary range for the Senior role is 75-85k. These roles are both full time, 37.5 hours per week.

Our people have great opportunities for advancement and deal with all levels within our clients' businesses (right up to the CEO and Board). Being an auditor is challenging. You need to work well in a team, have excellent numerical and communication skills, as well as thinking in a mature and logical way, while working to high quality standards and tight deadlines.

The success of our audit practice is based on innovative thinking, the opportunity for professional growth, high-calibre people and access to worldwide resources (including international secondment opportunities) through the Baker Tilly International Group.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be part of a successful full-service public practice also offering consultancy, business advisory, and tax services.

We are looking for someone with:

  • 3+ years audit experience, on track to complete your CA (Audit Senior) or 5+ years audit experience, ideally CA qualified (Assistant Manager)
  • Proficient in using Caseware, Xero and Microsoft Office software
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills
  • An ability to engage with clients and colleagues
  • Professionalism and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Commitment to the highest audit quality

What we offer

In return, we can offer you a great company and team culture within our friendly and high-achieving team. We invest in the development of our people, at all levels, and we offer exciting and diverse long-term career prospects.
