Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join a dynamic team at their distribution center in Hamilton. If you have experience operating counterbalance and/or reach forklifts and are looking for a fulfilling career with a reputable company, we want to hear from you.

Job Description:
As a Forklift Operator, your duties will include forklift operating - loading and unloading containers and trucks within the distribution center and coldstore as well as unpacking/packing product. This role requires someone to be competent operating a reach and/or counterbalance forklift with recent experience to back this up. You need to have precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Your expertise in forklift operation will be essential to the daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to work schedule (load, pack, wrap, label,ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high
  • Complete diary logs for all inventory using the Warehouse Management System
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and colleagues
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment


Requirements:

  • Valid OSH license.
  • F endorsement on your driver's license advantageous
  • Previous experience operating a reach and/or counterbalance forklift, preferably within a distribution center is advantageous.
  • Previous experience working within a coldstore environment is advantageous
  • Ability to work Afternoon shift
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test.
