Job Description
This established, global company brings in products from across the world, meaning there is endless amounts of learning opportunities and skills to develop.
This is a challenging role and would suit someone highly organised with strong computer literacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate shipments by speaking with overseas clients and agents as well as NZ agents
- Use Cargowise to input shipment details such as commodity codes. Experience on Cargowise a big advantage.
- Keep tracking information current and up to date and be available to discuss information with clients.
- Communicate quickly and effectively with clients via email and over the phone throughout the process
- Invoice and ensure POD's are logged.
The skills and experience you'll need to bring with you include:
- Previous freight forwarding and international shipping experience
- Strong communicator with high attention to detail
- Willingness to Learn - great training provided
- Problem solving and proactive approach
- Ability to use Word and Excel on a daily basis
