Are you an experienced Class 5 driver looking for a new opportunity in Thames, Waikato?
Tradestaff is seeking a skilled Class 5 Driver to join one of our trusted clients. If you enjoy the open road, and are looking for a role with variety and great pay, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

About the Role:In this role, you'll be responsible for operating a Class 5 vehicle for transporting goods and materials around the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 5 truck for deliveries and pickups within the construction and civil industry.
  • Transport goods safely and efficiently around Thames and the wider Coromandel region.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
  • Ensure all loads are secured and comply with transport regulations.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure safe operations on the road.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience driving Class 5 vehicles (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations.
  • Ability to load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physically fit to handle manual loading and unloading.
  • A reliable and safety-conscious approach to work.
  • Full New Zealand driver’s license and reliable transport.
