We are currently looking for an exceptional Barista to join one of our High End Corporate Catering - Business and Industry sites in Auckland CBD. This is Permanent Full Time Position rostered from Monday to Friday. Enjoy your weekends off!

As a Barista responsible for the day-to-day operation of the coffee bar facilities, as well as ordering, receipting and stocktaking of stocks, and reconciliation of daily takings. This role requires a pro-active approach to safety and utilisation of all of the safety equipment and procedures provided by Compass Group.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for providing warm, friendly, and welcoming customer service and responding to all requests in a timely manner.
  • Operate coffee bar, prepare and serve coffee, maintain coffee bar stocks
  • Clean and tidy coffee bar areas
  • You will be responsible for making and serving outstanding coffee, till use, and serving customers
  • Assisting with general cleaning, dishwashing and other duties related to your role.
  • Assisting with the basic food preparation and presentation as well.


He kōrero mōu / About you:

  • Will be hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude.
  • Ideally will have experience in a similar environment and hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one.
  • Will have Barista experience.
  • Will be a team player and work independently
  • Will have superior customer service skills but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
