The Company

Is a NZ owned multi-disciplinary national consultancy specialising in civil, geotechnical, structural and environmental engineering covering a diverse range of projects across the commercial, residential and industrial sectors for a range of private and public sector clients.

Due to continued growth they have an opening for a Civil Engineer for their busy Auckland office to work on a range of projects.

You will be part of the wider national civil team with the opportunity to contribute to primarily local but also national projects in the commercial and infrastructure space while being tasked with managing projects and clients.

This end-to-end role will see you manage all phases from client liaison, design, project management, contract management, on site MSQA and delivery.

The Role

  • Manage and deliver local and national projects in the commercial and infrastructure space
  • Manage projects and clients
  • In-house design time
  • On site MSQA
  • Contract and contractor management
  • Overall design package delivery


About You

  • Minimum 5+ years working with NZ Standards
  • BE or ME (Civil) or NZDE or an International equivalent
  • CPEng preferred but not essential
  • Solid geotechnical and/or structural understanding
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and confidence in decision making
  • Confident in dealing directly with clients and projects of varying sizes.
  • Like engaging with less experienced engineers through mentoring and support to help grow their knowledge base.
  • An organised independent thinker
  • Understand the importance of client prosperity
